Skye Recruitment supports Make a Wish on Wish Day 2009

Make a Wish Australia grants 500 wishes a year to children and young people with life-threatening illnesses.Wish Day is a national celebration for Make a Wish to raise awareness and funds through community events. Previous years have seen hundreds of thousands of dollars raised throughout Australia on this day.
Skye Recruitment is a proud supporter of Make a Wish, and on Wish Day this year 5 of our staff volunteered their time rattling tins in Brisbane CBD to raise funds.
We also held a 'dress-down' day for staff in the office, with donations going to Make a Wish, as well as sale of merchandise amongst staff.
The tally has yet to be counted for how much money was raised in total this Wish Day, but the tin rattling raised more than $5000 alone in Brisbane!
