Global mining company with world-class projects in Western Australia currently seeks an experienced Mining Engineer to head up operations in one of their WA mines
Reporting to the Mine Manager, you will be responsible for establishing operations supervising junior Engineers and supervising underground development.
You will also be responsible for:
Underground mine design
Liaison with the underground mining workforce
Preparation of underground mine plans, schedules, forecasts, reserves and budgets
Planning and supervision of underground project work
Participation in preparation of feasibility studies
Liaison with other departments as required
Compilation of daily and monthly reports
You must have:
A tertiary qualification in Geology or a related discipline
Three Years experience with at least one year in underground hard rock mining environments
Strong Computer Literacy
