A fantastic opportunity exists for a mining engineer looking to move onto more exciting and challenging roles within the mine planning team.
You will be a mining engineer with 2 years experience looking to move into a planning role with one of Australia\\'s largest coal mining companies.
Joining the mining planning team and reporting to the Senior Mine Planning Engineer you will be trained up on all aspects of short-term to medium-term mine planning activities and will be required to liaison and present plans to the long-term planning team and managers.
Some of your responsibilities will include
- Coordinating all daily short-term to medium-term planning activities for the mine site
- Conducting planning and reports of business and budget statistics
- Performing all daily, weekly and quarterly statistical reports
- Re-forecasting monthly statistical reports against budget
- Partaking in mine project developments as needed
- Degree in Engineering (Mining or Civil)
- At least 2 years mine planning or production engineering experience
- Ability to communicate plans and facilitate relevant meetings
- Experience with Xpac and Vulcan software will be highly regarded
