Reporting Environmental Manager you will be responsible for the provision of mine-site scientific and technical environmental support to the operation.
You will be involved in:
Development of programs for environmental monitoring, reporting and provide solutions to environmental issues
Coordinating and preparing submissions for internal and external reports and environmental approvals
Managing environmental incidents or complaints
Managing environmental projects
Liaison with relevant government departments and external organisations on environmental and Community Relations matters
Development and implementation of research and studies into new areas of work
The successful applicant should have the following qualifications/skills;
Environmental science or related undergraduate degree
Five years or more in an environmental field
Experience in the mining industry
An understanding of WA environmental legislation
Experience in conservation of marine environment
Solid working background and strong focus on Safety
