An opportunity is available to join an established oil and gas exploration and production operator as a senior drilling engineer. The role will report to the drilling team leader providing technical support for onshore operations.
Within this role, you will provide input into the development of drilling programs, cost estimates and monitoring of well performance.
Interface with geologists and reservoir specialists to scope drilling programs. Co-ordinate completions and well testing activities, and lead with practice of health, safety and environment procedures. You will need:
- Degree qualifications
- 7 or more years experience in the oil & gas industry
- Understanding of risk management techniques
- HPHT and geothermal experience an advantage
Salary will range from $110,000-$140,000. Salaries outside this range will be considered for individuals with exceptional skills or experience.
