Underground Geotechnical Engineer / Rock Mechanics Engineer looking to join a global mining company that values its employees, offers competitive salaries and benefits and is FIFO out of any major township.
Geotechnically challenging role,
Reporting to the Senior Geotechnical Engineer, some of your responsibilities may include:
- Design and implementation of optimal stopes, spans and pillar designs
- Design and monitoring of ground support, back fill systems, and control instrumentation
- Collecting, analysing and reporting geotechnical data
- Leadership and mentoring of junior geotechnical staff
- Liaising with and coordination of contractors
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $135,000 - 145,000 + bonuses. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
