An internationally successful mining company is looking for an experienced mine geologist for one of their open cut mine sites in the Bowen Basin.
The role is drive in drive out, with the convenience of only being hours from the coast.
You will report to the Geology Superintendent and your main duties will include:
- Planning, utilisation and interpretation of geological data
- Drilling logs, seismic and surface boreholes
- Geological process improvement projects
- Compliance with safety standards
- Assisting Technical Services team
To be considered for this role you will need a tertiary qualification in Geology and have a minimum of three years experience in the mining industry.
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $100k - $120k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
