A reputable international mining company is seeking a Technical Services Manager to step in and lead a team of 13+ mining professionals at one of Australia\\'s most sought after underground coal mine.
This role will be a real stand-out in any career-driven mining professionals\\' resume. In this key leadership role you will oversee Mining Engineers, Mine Planning, Geology, Survey, Gas Drainage, Ventilation and Geotechnical departments.
You will be required to be based residentially in the Bowen Basin on a 5/2 roster and you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring optimal production targets are achieved
- Maintaining a focus on health and safety, environmental protection and profit
- Identifying and implementing operational improvement strategies
- Resolving technical issues
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $180k -$200k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
