An opportunity has arisen for an innovative and people-orientated leader to join our team as a Drill and blast supervisor in the Bowen Basin. An attractive salary and flexible commute options are on offer for the right candidate.
In this leadership role you will be responsible for
- Ensuring that the drill and blast activities are effectively planned and coordinated
- Liaise closely with the other Supervisors on a daily basis to ensure the safe coordination of drill and blast activities
- Manage your own team
- Build and mentor your team to develop their skills
- Prior Open cut mining experience
- Working knowledge of relevant Australian Mining regulations
- Commitment to complying with site safety standards
- Previous supervisory experience
