This is an excellent opportunity to step into an exciting Drill and Blast Engineer role with an established mining company on of their premier open cut coal mines in the Bowen Basin.
This is a residential position and is complimented by a generous salary and benefits package; including subsidised housing, relocation allowances and performance bonuses.
As part of this role, some of duties may include:
- Scheduling of OB and Coal Drills
- Designing of Drill patterns
- Designing and Implementation of blast designs including explosive selection and loading, tie up plans and cost monitoring
You will be a graduate in Mining Engineering with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in open cut coal operations.
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $90k - $115k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
