This role will suit a qualified Mining Engineer with a strong drill and blast background and is a fantastic opportunity to join an emerging mining company and play an important role in this long term project.
You will be involved in a very much hands on role with design work including drill patterns and blast design and short to long term planning and scheduling.
This role will quickly progress to superintendent level - those at this level are also encouraged to apply
To be successful for the Senior Drill and Blast Engineer role, you will require the following:
Tertiary Mine engineer qualifications
3-4 years experience in Drill and Blast engineering role (less experienced are encourage to apply.)
Drill and Blast design experience
Daily co-ordination of drill and blast activities
Monthly scheduling
Short and medium term mine planning as required
Ensuing budget compliance is met for mining
Ensuing production targets are met
